School Cents: Shop at The Oaks and earn money for your school!  Bring original receipts for purchased made at The Oaks from September 1, 2011 through April 30, 2012 to Guest Services. Your school will earn points for every dollar spent in the shopping center.  Every school wins!

How You Can Help Local Schools
It's easy to help 30 local schools win a share of $15,000. Just shop and log receipts from any of The Oaks stores and restaurants between September 1, 2011 through April 30, 2012. Your school of choice earns five points per dollar spent, with lots of additional bonus points opportunities. Receipts can be logged at Guest Services anytime during the program. Remember to tell your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to log their receipts. Anyone can support a school in the School Cents program. Click here for more information.

Why Should I Participate?
Free money for local schools! Everyone has shopping to do. Why not help a school at the same time? Every participating school earns a prize, but how much is based on the total accumulated points earned by each school. So even the soda or latte receipts add up! Logging receipts is easy to do – the Guest Services staff will note your receipt total, stamp the receipt and hand it right back to you.  Many schools also collect their parents' receipts and log for them – just check with your school office. The Oaks will give away $15,000 in gift cards this year to 30 participating schools.

More About School Cents
The Oaks has contributed $60,000 to local schools through the School Cents program, which began in the 2007-2008 school year.  School Cents now rewards 30 elementary, middle and high schools, and will add another $15,000 this year to support school and classroom projects.  Please call (800) 539-3273 for additional School Cents information or email info@shoppingpartnership.com. Contribution Requests 
Each year, The Oaks will contribute a preset amount of funds in the form of Gift Cards, merchandise and use of property to a diverse group of organizations. Hundreds of requests are anticipated each year. Donation recipients may include civil organizations' education programs; food banks; foundations; hospitals and health care organizations; youth programs; performing arts and museums and many more. Each request is reviewed carefully, however, not all requests can be granted.
